Riding together — sharing, voice and safety

The server learned to invite riders by link, hand them a calendar file, start a group ride when an event goes live and tell the organisers when a rider raises an SOS. The desktop console now does all of it from the organiser's side.
Until now, switching an event to live changed one word on the console and nothing else. Now it starts the ride: the roster is in one group ride on the event's route, the organisers are reached when a rider who agreed raises an SOS, and at the end each rider can hand their own ride back to the event.
A platform that can only be read by its own app is a trap, however nice the app is. This week FastGIS learned to speak the standards, and to let riders see each other move.
