From the desktop to your phone, in one tap
You plan at the desk and ride with the phone. Now the desktop can hand a plan, or anything else in your library, to the phone: press Send to phone, and a notification arrives there. Tap it and the plan opens in the app's planner, ready to ride.
From the planner
Send to phone sits beside Save to library under the route's figures. A plan you have saved goes at once. A plan you have not saved yet, or changed since, opens the save form first, its name filled in and its button reading Save and send: the phone opens what is in your library, so the plan is saved on the way. Cancel sends nothing.
From the library
In the Library, Send to phone is with the other actions of the Selection panel, for one item or many (up to twenty at a time; a collection counts as one and opens with its items). On the phone a planned route opens in the planner; a track, a ride or a place opens in the Library, selected; several items open in the Library with all of them in view. An item a friend shared with you can be sent too.
What the note says
After a send, a note says how many of your phones it reached and what opens there. When it reached none it says why, and what to do: no phone is signed in to the app with your account, the phones have its notifications turned off, or you have sent a lot in the last minute and it says when to try again. If the note says sent and nothing shows on the phone, a Focus or Do not disturb there is holding the notification: allow the app in it.
The push copies nothing to the phone: the phone reads the items from your library when you tap, so it needs a connection then. Keeping items on the phone for riding without signal is a separate switch, Keep on my phone, in the item's panel.
