KML, KMZ and FIT in the Library, and the days of a ride kept apart
The Library's Import and export now reads KML, KMZ and FIT files besides GPX and GeoJSON, previews a web address before saving it, keeps the days of a ride apart on the map, and exports a zip of one GPX per item.
The server reads the file
Drop a file and the server reads it as it came, then answers what it would create, without saving anything: that answer is the preview beside the map. A Garmin FIT activity, a KML from Google Earth or a zipped KMZ shows up the same way as a GPX. Already in your library is now said by content: the same line, point for point, even when it runs the other way.
A web address gets a look first
Paste the address of a file and press Preview. It is listed and drawn like a file, and nothing reaches your library until you press Save.
The days of a ride
A ride over three days that comes as one file with a track per day is still one item, but it keeps each day as a part of its own: the map draws the days, not a straight line from the end of one to the start of the next. A file of separate trails, such as a TET country file, still becomes an item per trail.
Out again, in one go
The export asks the server once for everything you chose. Besides one GPX, GeoJSON or KML file there is a fourth choice, Zip: one GPX file per item, for one item or for many. A file exported and dropped back in says already in your library.
